TikTok

Now that you have your content selected, we'll show you how to best format it for TikTok!

Parallel Lines

Editing your video

For TikTok we have to use an editing software to format the clip to be better suited for TikTok. Once you have your clip in an editing program you want to crop the resolution to be in a 2:3 ratio. Since TikTok is primarily used on mobile devices having a 2:3 ratio allows for a better viewing experience.

Find in your editing program your sequence settings and change the resolution to be a vertical 2:3 ratio. For example if the video quality by default is 1920x1080, the 2:3 ratio would be 720x1080. Export the video in 2:3 resolution and it's ready for TikTok.

Posting

Once you have your video ready to go, we'll post it to TikTok, it's best if it's in a 2:3 resolution but it's not completely needed, having a video in native resolution is also acceptable.

Once you have the video on TikTok, you can trim, add text, effects, filters, and more.
